Greenbrier distributes 37,000 toys for needy kids

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS —  The Greenbrier resort has collected nearly 37,000 donated toys for needy children.

Volunteers and Greenbrier staff helped deliver the gifts to charities Thursday outside the White Sulphur Springs resort.

More than 100 charities participated in the resort’s second-annual Cream a Dream Tree for Kids toy drive, which was initiated by Greenbrier owner Jim Justice.

Last year about 30,000 gifts were distributed to 98 charities that requested assistance.
