Gas prices have gone up about a nickel over the past week in West Virginia.
AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline in the state is now $3.94. That’s 4 cents higher than the national average.
Prices range from $3.90 in Parkersburg to $3.98 in Morgantown.
A year ago, gas prices averaged $3.63 in West Virginia. Since the start of the year, prices have gone up about 59 cents per gallon.
