Mr. and Mrs. Marc Meachum of Bluefield, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Elizabeth, to Mr. Jacob McConnico, son of Yvonne McConnico of Winston-Salem, N. C. Miss Meachum is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is executive director of alumni relations at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem. Mr. McConnico graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is lead manager of policy and advocacy with RAI Services Company, also in Winston-Salem. A May wedding is planned.
