- — Ella Smalls and James Simpson, of Bluefield, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Smalls, of Bluefield, to Michael Horton, of Bluefield, son of Dorothy Brown and Edgar Giles and stepfather Harold Brown of Gary. The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 25, at House of Prayer Inc., 214 Church St., with Bishop George Sr., and co-pastor Kathy Sue Hartwell officiating.
