— — James and Diane Hall of Princeton, W.Va., announce the engagement of their son, Phillip Hall of Denver, N.C., to Ashley Davis, also of Denver, N.C.  Phillip is the grandson of Mabel Hull and the late Marlin Hull and Walter (Dick) Hall and Theda Marie Hall. He graduated from Mount View High School and a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is presently the branch manager for Orkin Pest Control in Hickory, N.C. Ashley is the daughter of Gregory and Cindy Davis and granddaughter of Irvin and Laura Awtry and the late Roger and Betty Davis. Ashley graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing Communications and is a licensed cosmetologist at Beauty Brands in Huntersville, N.C. A spring wedding is being planned in Charlotte, N.C. for April 2013.
