— — Surrounded by family and friends, Jennifer Renea Harmon and John Joseph Talerico III were married June 2, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Blacksburg, Va. Father Remi Sojka officiated the ceremony. A reception followed with dinner and dancing at the Holiday Inn University.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Rebecca Harmon of Princeton, W.Va. Jennifer is a graduate of Princeton Senior High School and received her bachelor degree of business administration from Bluefield State College in 2006.  She is currently employed by Springleaf Financial Services.  

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Talerico Jr. of Hurricane, W.Va. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billie Huffman of Mt. Nebo, W.Va. and Mrs. Wilma Talerico and the late John Talerico Sr. of Louisville, Ky. John is a graduate of Hurricane High School and received his bachelor degree of electrical engineering in 2003 and master’s degree of business administration in 2006, both from Virginia Tech.  He is currently employed by Virginia Tech.

Sister-in-law of the bride, Tara Harmon of Princeton, served as the matron of honor. Friend of the bride, Trent Besecker of Arlington, Va., served as the man of honor. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Amber Hairston of Bluefield, W.Va., and Heather Littier of Blacksburg. Makenzie Turnes served as the flower girl.  

Jason Talerico of Charleston, W.Va., brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were friends of the groom, Matthew Faulkner, of Knoxville, Tenn., Tim Kushon, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Zach Egolf of Owings Mills, Md., and Michael Littier of Reston, Va. Carter Harmon served as the ring bearer.  

Readings were offered by Maria Broyles, Elise Egolf and Nicholas Littier.

Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean, Jennifer and John now reside in Christiansburg, Va.
