CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. —
A former Keswick scoutmaster faces sex charges involving a boy who was a member of his troop.
Media outlets report that an Albemarle County grand jury indicted 49-year-old David Brian Watkins on Monday on one count of forcibly sodomizing a child younger than 13.
The alleged incident occurred in 2005. Watkins led Keswick Troop 1028 from 2002 to 2008.
Authorities say the scout is now an adult.
Watkins is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. His trial is set for April 2.
