Alleged Bigfoot stunt leads to man’s death

KALISPELL, Mont. — A man who allegedly donned a camouflage outfit so he could inspire some sightings of the legendary Bigfoot was killed when two vehicles struck him.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers said 44-year-old Randy Lee Tenley was wearing a ghillie suit when he was hit on Highway 93, according to NBCMontana. com. A ghillie suit is three-dimensional camouflage available at sporting goods stores and on the Internet. Troopers said the suit played a major role in Tenley’s death.

“He probably would not have been very easy to see at all,” Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said.

Investigators said Tenley was in the right-hand lane of Highway 93 South when he was hit. According to his companions, Tenley put on the ghillie suit so people would think he was Bigfoot.
