Witten sets new Dallas reception mark

ATLANTA — Jason Witten, whose grandfather Dave Rider once coached the Tazewell High football team, is the new Dallas Cowboys career reception leader. The tight end caught seven passes in Sunday night’s 19-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, to give him 754 for his career, passing Michael Irvin’s record of 750.
