PRINCETON —
Santa Claus is coming to town, today!
The jolly elf is headed to Your Hometown Newspaper to meet the boys and girls who want to share their Christmas wishes and help make other kids’ holidays bright. He’s scheduled the visit 1:30 p.m.—5:30 p.m. at 109 Thorn St., Princeton.
Anyone who donates a new, unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps League’s Toys for Tots campaign will get a free 5x7 photo with Santa, courtesy of the Princeton Times, and they’ll be featured in the Dec. 9 edition of the newspaper.
“Our newspaper elves have collaborated closely with Santa, and we’re really excited to team up and help keep Christmas bright for lots of local children,” Times Editor and General Manager Tammie Toler said. “We’ve been decorating this week, and we have some sweet Christmas treats in stock, too.”
All photos will be set with a Christmas theme, and additional photos or CDs will be available for purchase.
Visitors will be photographed on a first-come, first-served basis, but because Santa will arrive in the nick of time, the photo shoot is not likely to begin earlier than 1:30 p.m.
For more information, call 304-425-8191 or 304-425-2185.
