UNWANTED PERSON/ HARASSMENT: Officers received reports of an unwanted call on Wayne Street at 12:03 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options. Officers received a harassment call at the same address at 1:32 a.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject.
ANIMAL CRUELTY: Officers received reports of cruelty to animals on Highland Avenue at 9:20 a.m. Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson filed an animal control report, seized the animal and transported it to the Mercer County Animal Shelter.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Bluefield Avenue at 10:49 a.m. Officers reported the complainants agreed to exchange insurance information without law enforcement involvement after being advised of their options.
THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Frederick Street at 11:28 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.
THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Carter Street at 3:02 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the complainants did not wish to file a report.
IDENTITY THEFT: Officers received reports of identity theft on South Mercer Street at 3:41 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.
FORGERY: Officers received reports of a forgery on Carolina Avenue at 4:35 p.m. Officers have a report pending.
UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Hoge Street at 4:40 p.m. Officers reported the male individual wanted to retrieve his property from the residence and advised him of his options.
DUI: Officers received reports of a driver under the influence on East Cumberland Road at 10:48 p.m. Officers filed an offense report and took one male subject to Bluefield Regional Medical center for a blood alcohol test.
UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Carolina Avenue at 11:05 p.m. Officers advised the individuals to leave.
