BREAKING AND ENTERING: Mercer County 911 received reports of a breaking and entering in progress at 1401 Highland Avenue at 1:00 a.m. Patrolman R.D. Davis, Detective A.B. Palmer, Patrolman J.W. Murray, Jr. and Patrolman J.A. Begley responded and arrested one male subject.



AUGUST 25



STOLEN PROPERTY: A female complainant reported stolen property at Fox and Thompson on 1701 Bluefield Avenue at 8:36 a.m. Patrolman M.L. Ramsey filed a report.



THEFT OF SERVICE: A male complainant reported a theft of service from 203 Jones Street at 10:32 a.m. Patrolman J.T. Begley has a report pending.



INTOXICATION: A female complainant reported an intoxicated male subject at West Virginia Manor at 8:59 p.m. Corporal J.D. Vance arrested one male subject.



STOLEN DOG: A female complainant reported at 8:07 p.m. that a neighbor had stolen her dog at 513 Hardy Street and was attempting to sell it. Corporal J.D. Vance advised the complainant of her options.
