— BLUEFIELD CITY POLICE DEPT. OCT. 19 CREDIT CARD FRAUD: Officers received reports of credit card fraud on Tazewell Street at 12:42 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Maryland Avenue at 4:02 p.m. Officers filed a crash report. SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle on Stovall Street at 4:37 p.m. Officers asked for extra patrols in the area. MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Stadium Drive at 11:36 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report. SHOTS FIRED: Officers received reports of shots being fired on Wheeling Avenue at 11:43 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. OCT. 20 FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Balsam Street at 12:10 a.m. Officers arrested one male subject and filed an offense report. UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Baldwin Avenue at 3:59 a.m. and again at 4:36 a.m. Officers advised the subject to leave and then advised the subject that legal action could be taken if they refused to leave again. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on West Cumberland Road at 1:40 p.m. officers filed an offense report. CRUELTY TO ANIMALS: Officers received reports of cruelty to animals on Old Bramwell Road at 3:41 p.m. Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson reported the complaint was unfounded. ANIMAL ATTACK: Officers received reports of an animal attack on Warden Avenue at 5:51 p.m. Officers took information from witnesses. ASSAULT: Officers received reports of an assault on Bluefield Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Officers advised the complainant of their options. BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on Bland Street at 10:37 p.m. Officers reported the doors of the building had been left unlocked by the owners. ARMED ROBBERY: Officers received reports of an armed robbery on Southview Drive at 11:44 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. OCT. 21 SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Surry Street at 11:18 a.m. and again at 11:35 a.m. Officers reported the subject was a stranded motorist who needed assistance. LEAVING THE SCENE: Officers received reports of a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident on East Cumberland Road at 1:35 a.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report. LOUD MUSIC: Officers received reports of loud music on Maryland Avenue at 4:38 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options. ABANDONED VEHICLE: Officers received reports of an abandoned vehicle on Pulaski Street at 9:06 a.m. Officers reported the incident was a disagreement and advised complainants of their options. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Officers received reports of destruction of property on Union Street at 12:40 p.m. Officers reported the residents moving into the home were just throwing away items left behind by the previous owners. NOISE DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a noise disturbance on Ablemarle Street at 12:51 p.m. Officers advised subjects to keep their remote-control cars off the street. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Officers received reports of destruction of property on Hill Avenue at 1:57 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Bluefield Avenue at 3:29 p.m. Officers filed a complaint report. DRIVE OFF: Officers received reports of a gas drive off on Princeton Avenue at 4:10 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on East Cumberland Road at 4:53 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on West Cumberland Road at 7:55 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options. NOISE DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a noise disturbance on Northfork Street at 9:02 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options. FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Cherry Street at 9:15 p.m. Officers reported the subjects were not physically fighting but were in a dispute concerning a pregnancy. OCT. 22 THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on Stadium Drive at 7:25 a.m. Officers filed an offense report. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on South Mercer Street at 9:22 a.m. Officers filed a complaint report. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on U.S. Route 52/Coal Heritage Road at 9:56 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and have a report pending. MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Rock Street at 10:05 a.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report. STOLEN VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a stolen vehicle on Elm Street at 3:40 p.m. Officers filed a crash report. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Stadium Drive at 4:42 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle on Elm Street at 5:40 p.m. Officers issued a citation to have the vehicle towed if it had not been moved within 24 hours. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on Cherry Street at 8:06 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on College Avenue at 8:53 p.m. Officers filed an offense report. DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Union Street at 9:40 p.m. Officers filed a complaint report. OCT. 23 VANDALISM: Officers received reports of vandalism to a vehicle on Locust Street at 10:16 a.m. Officers reported no vandalism occurred and advised complainants of their options. TOBACCO: Officers received reports of a tobacco violation on West Cumberland Road at 11:23 a.m. Officers issued a citation. ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Fairfax Street at 12:43 p.m. Officers reported the vehicle was not blocking traffic and advised complainants of their options. BREAKING AND ENTERING: Officers received reports of breaking and entering on Union Street at 2:38 p.m. Officers reported the bank was foreclosing on the house and no breaking or entering had occurred. FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Bland Street at 8:49 p.m. Officers have an offense report pending.
