THEFT: A purse was reported stolen at 512 Commerce Street. Patrolman J.W. Murray Jr. investigated.
SKATEBOARDS: Kids on skateboards agreed to leave the First Christian Church on Bland Street when Patrolman A.L. Crook told them to do so.
ROCKS: Both parties resolved their problem after there was a report of kids throwing rocks at each other on Magnolia Street. Patrolman A.L.Crook investigated.
INTOXICATION: Parents under the influence with their child around were reported at the Bluefield Regional Medical Center emergency room. Patrolman R.D. Davis advised them to stay clean around their child.
