SHOT FIRED: A female caller who would not give her name said a shot had been fired in the vicinity of Graves and Bluefield Avenue. Patrolman J.D. Vance and Patrolman H.E. Naumann did not locate anything.

PERSON IN TRAFFIC: A female subject stopping cars was reported on Bland Street near the Shriners. She was located and taken to the station. Patrolman J.D.Vance and Patrolman H.E. Naumann investigated.

TRESPASSING: Kids were reported trespassing at 414 Union Street. They were gone when Patrolman J.D. Vance arrived.

ASSAULT: An assault on a juvenile was reported at East River Park. Patrolman H.E. Naumann investigated.

CRASH: A motor vehicle accident was reported at 604 College Avenue. Patrolman D.A. Lambert filed a vehicle complaint report.

DISPUTE: A family altercation was reported at Preston Street. The incident proved to be verbal and the parties separated. Corporal J.T. Brooks investigated.

June 29

DISTURBANCE: A male subject causing a disturbance was reported at the West Virginia Manor. He was escorted to his room in the manor. Patrolman S.N. Horton investigated.
