FRAUDULENT USE OF A DEBIT CARD: A couple filed a report with Ptlm. J.S. Bish advising that someone had taken one of their debit cards out of the wife's purse and made four unauthorized transactions. The case remains under investigation.

COUNTERFEITING: Officers responded to Grant's Supermarket, where a complainant reported a customer attempting to purchase merchandise with a counterfeit bill. The customer reported she had received the bill at a local convenience store and did not know it was counterfeit.
March 1
PETIT LARCENY, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Ptlm. J.D. Halsey and Sgt. T.A. Gray responded to a report that a newspaper machine had been broken into at the Kroger shopping center. The complainant advised someone stole all the change from the machine.
FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD: Officers responded to the Budget Inn, where a suspect had reportedly been using four different company debit cards for personal use. According to a report by Ptlm. J.D. Lambert, the complainant did wish to pursue charges, and the case remained under investigation.

INFORMATION ONLY: Ptlm. M.B. Gergely responded to DHHR, where a worker reported she felt threatened by a male outside the building. He allegedly verbally attacked her and called her names as she walked to the building. Both parties were advised to leave the area.
