June 17

• BREAKING AND ENTERING: Ptlm. M.B. Gergely responded to the Thorn Street car wash, where an employee reported someone pulled the plastic vent from the storage building. Coins were reported missing from a plastic bucket.

• DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Employees at D and J Car Stereo reported a side glass door to the business had been shattered with a long piece of wood that was allegedly taken from the side of the Budget Inn next door. Ptlm. M.B. Gergely investigated.

• BATTERY: Ptlm. W.M. Bradley and Ptlm. M.B. Gergely responded to the Princeton Community Hospital, where a complainant advised she was involved in an argument with another woman. During the dispute, one of the women allegedly reached into the vehicle to retrieve her keys, and the other woman allegedly drove off, partially dragging the complainant. The complainant did not want to pursue charges.

• BURGLARY, PETIT LARCENY: Sgt. B.R. Woodard responded to a report of stolen property on Beckley Road. Several items of jewelry were reported missing from the residence.

June 18

• PETIT LARCENY: Ptlm. J.S. Bish and Ptlm. J.D. Lambert responded to a Mercer Street residence, where a complainant reported a woman had taken his wallet and money when she left from a visit.

• SHOPLIFTING: Ptlm. W.M. Bradley reported seeing a woman take toothpaste, ointment and bottles from a shelf at Kroger and conceal them without paying. Violet Bowman, 29, of Princeton, was cited for shoplifting.
