BLUEFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT



JAN. 18

SHOTS FIRED: Officers received reports of shots being fired on Federal Street at 1:44 a.m. Officers filed a complaint report.

ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Golf Street at 5:55 a.m. Officers reported the vehicle was stuck in the snow, but was not illegally parked or blocking anything.

ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Bluemont Drive at 8:53 a.m. Officers reported the vehicle was parked on a dead end and was not obstructing anything.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Pine Street at 5:43 p.m. Officers filed a crash report.



JAN. 19

ASSAULT: Officers received reports of an assault on College Avenue at 4:23 a.m. Officers reported the subject was not assaulted but instead fell while he was intoxicated.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Oakhurst Avenue at 6:11 a.m. Officers filed a report.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Officers received reports of a breaking and entering on College Avenue at 9:43 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

DISPUTE: Officers received reports of a dispute between a landlord and a tenant on Dearborn Avenue at 9:54 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the issue was a civil matter.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Officers received reports of destruction of property on East Cumberland Road at 1:04 p.m. Officers reported the complainant was gone upon their arrival.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: Officers received reports of an abandoned vehicle on Cherrywood Lane at 1:06 p.m. Officers reported the vehicle was not stolen and was not illegally parked or improperly registered.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident on Cumberland Road at 5:05 p.m. Officers filed a complaint report.

UNDERAGE DRINKING: Officers received reports of underage drinking on Bluefield Avenue at 9 p.m. Officers filed an offense report and issued a summons.



JAN. 20

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Cherry Street at 10:40 a.m. Officers filed a complaint report.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on East Cumberland Road at 2:40 p.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Augusta Street at 5:27 p.m. Officers checked the address and surrounding area but could find no signs of any suspicious activity.
