ASSAULT: Officers received reports of an assault on Balsam Street at 8:44 a.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject.
ANIMAL ATTACK: Officers received reports of an animal attack on Edgemont Drive at 9:09 a.m. Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson filed an animal control report, took a statement and pictures from the scene.
ABANDONED VEHICLE: Officers received reports of an abandoned vehicle on Rockbridge Street at 10:05 a.m. Officers issued a warning citation.
ASSAULT: Officers received reports of an assault on Cherry Street 10:15 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.
DISPUTE: Officers received reports of a dispute between a landlord and a tenant on Greenbrier Street at 12:47 p.m. Officers reported the subject agreed to leave the residence.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Big Laurel Highway/U.S. Route 460 at 1:53 p.m. Officers filed a complaint report.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Officers received reports of breaking and entering on College Avenue at 3:12 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.
THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Augusta Street at 8:01 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Balsam Street at 12:15 a.m. Officers reported the subject creating the disturbance left before they arrived.
DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Harry Street at 2:20 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on U.S. Route 460 at 3:43 p.m. Officers filed a crash report and had one vehicle towed from the scene.
TRESPASSING: Officers received reports of trespassing on Princeton Avenue at 5:05 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the individual left the property.
THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft of a cell phone on College Avenue at 5:23 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.
FOUR WHEELERS: Officers received reports of four wheelers on Old Bramwell Road at 8:20 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported there was no damage caused.
NOISE DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a noise disturbance on Highland Avenue at 9:58 p.m. Officers transported one female individual from the area.
BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on College Avenue at 10:38 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.
UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Franklin Street at 12:12 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the individuals left the area.
