Stephanie Flores Suratos, age 30, of 3902 1/2 Carey Street, Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 1, 1982 in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of Stephen Suratos and Mildred Flores.
Stephanie was a resident of Mercer County for the past 10 years where she worked as an artist. She graduated from Bluefield State College with a double major earning degrees in Architectural and Civil Engineering. She was a member of the Phi Sigma Zeta Sorority. Stephanie also attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, survivors include two brothers, Stephen and Jerome; one sister, Jerika; puppy, Bailey; her ever-loving and ever-devoted fiancé Adam Hudak.
Friends may call Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 8:00 p.m. with Father Paul Wharton officiating.
