PRINCETON —
Adena Bartfai, 64, of Brittany Drive, Princeton, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born June 1, 1948, in Gary, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Earl Haynes and Rouvatie Basham.
Mrs. Bartfai was a devoted wife, mother, sister and homemaker. She truly enjoyed gardening and canning. Adena was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harry Andrew Bartfai; and brothers, Viron Haynes and Lowell Haynes.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jason and Michelle Bartfai, Dianna and Sammy Blankenship, Andrew and Tammy Bartfai, and Kenneth Martin; three grandchildren, Tori Bartfai, Winter Blankenship and Madison Martin; siblings, Verelene Melvin, Zana Thompson, Dallas Haynes and wife, Arby; sisters-in-law, Linda Haynes, Betty Haynes.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Kevin Belcher officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 25 from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
