FLOYD, Va. —
Frances Jane Munsey, 91, of Floyd, Va. and formerly of 812 Highland Avenue, Bluefield, W.Va., died Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Floyd.
Born October 7, 1921 in Bluefield, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John R. Munsey and Mary Gladys Sutherland Munsey. Miss Munsey was a graduate of Beaver High School and West Virginia Business College. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bluefield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Isaac “Ike” Newton Munsey, Jack S. Munsey, and William Bird Munsey.
Survivors include one brother, John R. Munsey Jr. and his wife Mary Elizabeth Lockhart Munsey of Sugar Hill, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday (today), November 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Dr. W.D. Hasty Jr. officiating.
Those attending services are asked to meet at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum by 2:00 p.m.
