BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Thelma Louise Moore, 84, of 115 Dudley Street, Bluefield, Va., passed away on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Westwood. She was born on May 8, 1928 in Boissevain, Va., and was a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Willard Evans.
She was a member of the Falls Mills Christian Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her days were made more comfortable and easier by the special people of Westwood Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matison Eugene Moore; brothers, Jimmie Evans, Jack Evans, Morris Evans; and sister, Shirley Evans Hockett.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Johnson and husband Terrance of Bluefield, W.Va.; son, Michael Eugene Moore and wife Janis of Bluefield, Va.; granddaughter, Jessica Hoops and husband Chucky of Bluefield, Va.; step-grandchildren, Tammy Reeves of Princeton, Michael Hicks and wife Deana of Princeton; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bradley, Travis, Christian and Madison; sisters, Opal Hylton and husband Bill of Pocahontas, Va., Linda Clark and husband Wayne of Bealesville, Ohio; brother, Danny Evans and wife Evelyn of Springfield, Ill.; special sisters-in-law, Janet Yost and husband Arnold, Jo Ann Tolbert, Juanita Sheppard; and brother-in-law, Sam Moore and wife Linda; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Pastors Tom Reid and Wayne Clark. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until hour of service.
