KEGLEY —
Marsha Antoinette Hicks, 43, of 171 Norwick St. Kegley, passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at her mother's residence in Montcalm.
Born Dec. 22, 1969 in Bluefield to Jerlean Jones Pennington and the late Hobart Ray Pennington, she had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm. Marsha was a member of the Montcalm Church of God.
Left to cherish her memory are mother, Jerlean Jones Pennington of Montcalm; husband, Joseph Hick of the home; one son, Zachary Joe Hicks of Kegley; one daughter, Desaree Constance Kathleen Pennington of Montcalm; one brother, Rodney Pennington and wife Brenda of Pocahontas, Va.; two sisters, Debbie Underwood and husband Steve of Westfield, N.C., and Cora Glass of N.C.; and two grandchildren, Phoenix and Josie Hicks.
Funeral service will be held today (Thursday), Feb. 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Christian officiating the service.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the family to help offset expense.
