BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Judy Dudley, 73, of Bluefield, Va., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at her home. She was born in Bluefield, W. Va., and was the daughter of the late Preston Peters and Madelyn Yost Peters.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Bluefield, Va. and while living in Florida, she was a Docent for the Central Florida Zoological Park in Sanford, Fla. and was also a Docent of the Moate Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn T. Dudley; son, Kevin G. Dudley and wife Jeani of Bluefield, Va.; daughter, Glenna Gaboriult of Bluefield, Va.; grandchildren, Maddie Dudley, Catron Holland and husband, Stevie, Kevin Gaboriult and Steven Gaboriult; sister, Mary Lou Nicholson of Sarasota, Fla.; stepmother, Marietta Peters of Beckley, W.Va.; half sister, Donna Ellison of Beckley, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Jim Dudley and wife Kay of Bluefield, Va.; sister-in-law, Martha Garian and husband Robert of Richmond, Va.; nephew, Bill Dudley; niece, Beth Dudley.
A celebration of her life will be held today (Thursday), Feb. 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Russ Hatfield officiating.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from noon until hour of services.
