PULASKI, Va. —
Rochelle Weaver Dickenson, age 74, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Born June 18, 1938 in Tazewell County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Roby Weaver and Ruby Helen Weaver. Her husband, William R. “Bill” Dickenson and one brother, Steven Weaver also preceded her in death.
Surviving: Children, Randy Dickenson and wife, Regina of Pulaski, Dee Sloe and husband, Mike of Martinsville, Va.; three grandchildren, Tyler, Katie and Isaak Dickenson; sister, Karen Nabors of Roanoke, Va.; brothers, Roger Weaver and wife, Carol of Tazewell, Va., Rick Weaver and wife, Susie of Christiansburg, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m., February 6, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Mark Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Alzheimer's Association-Blue Ridge of Virginia Chapter, 2728 Colonial Ave. Suite 2, Roanoke, Virginia 24015.
Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the Dickenson family.
