PRINCETON —
Betty Jean Blevins, age 69, of 103 Village Glen, Princeton, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her sister's home.
Born on June 1, 1943 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Bower Clyde and Ethel Dunford Farrington. She had been a resident of Princeton for 30 years and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Farrington.
Survivors include: Son: Larry Eugene Blevins and Missy of Elkton, Md.; daughter: Tammy Lynn Phillips and Michael Lambert of Princeton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother: Danny Farrington and April of McCleansville, N.C.; four sisters: Anne Duggan of Princeton, Linda Taylor and Dr. Don Taylor of Bluefield, Va., Melissa Noland and Clayton of Princeton, Mary Farrington and partner Shelia of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Jackie Fitzko officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Clayton Noland, Michael Lambert, David Duggan, Dustion Duggan, Jared Taylor and BJ Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
