TAZEWELL, Va. —
William Herald, age 80, of Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Va., died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Va. Born October 14, 1932 in Tazewell, Va., he was a son of the late Jesse Franklin “Deck” Herald and Minnie Lee Hall Herald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Ellen Amburgey; four brothers, Howard Herald, Carl P. Herald, Jesse Franklin Herald Jr., and Walter Curtis Herald.
Survivors include one brother, John E. (Dee) Herald; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, Va. with his nephew, Pastor Rick Herald officiating.
