ROCKY GAP, Va. —
Linda Louise Tuggle Lawson, age 65, of Rocky Gap, Va., passed away, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. She was born on Oct. 12, 1947, in Bluefield.
Linda was a member of Rocky Gap United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, and doing for others. Linda loved her family, friends, and her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Tuggle; and a daughter-in-law, Crystal Lawson.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lawson of the home; two sons, Kevin and Christi Lawson of Rocky Gap, Va., and Brian and Ryan Lawson of Wytheville, Va.; mother, Eva Tuggle of Rocky Gap, Va.; sister, Teresa and Kenneth Lawson of Rocky Gap, Va.; four grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Jason and Carter Lawson; and her cat, “Callie.”
Funeral services will be held today (Saturday), December 22, 2012, 2 p.m.., at the Rocky Gap United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Rodney Lawson, and the Reverend Lee Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Tuggle Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from noon until service time at the church.
