TAZEWELL, Va. —
Deborah Lynn Smith, age 55, of Tazewell, Va., died Friday, December 7, 2012 at her home. Born November 5, 1957 in Tazewell County, Va., she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Estelle Mae Duncan.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Chapel at North Tazewell, Va. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Smith; two daughters, Jamie L. Ugarte of Northern, Va. and Jessica L. Hensler and husband, Dave of Front Royal, Va.; one son, Morgan Hunter Smith of Tazewell, Va.; one stepson, Benjamin F. Smith III of Culpeper, Va.; three stepdaughters, Yvonne Hope Fisher of Culpeper, Va., Kimberly S. Pittman and husband, Garland, and Erica F. Wright and husband, J.B. all of Rixeyville, Va.; four sisters, Lettie Hall and husband, June and Maggie Keene and husband, James all of Tazewell, Va., Dorothy Kitts of Richmond, Va. and Mary Josephine Kellison and husband, Steve of Amissville, Va.; two brothers, Roger Duncan of Georgia and Dewey Duncan of Florida; eight grandchildren, Aaron W. Dodson, Dylan Hensler, Micah Ugarte, Elisha Oberndorf, Kayla Howard, Kyle Fisher, Zachary Smith, and Tiffany Brooks.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with Pastor Chuck Trent officiating.
Committal services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Culpeper, Va.
