BLUEFIELD —
William “ Bill” Davidson, 99, of 2809 Kirk St., Bluefield, WV, went to be with his Lord after a beautiful life, following a brief illness on Wednesday Dec. 5, 2012.
Born Feb. 28, 1913, Mr. Davidson was a veteran of WW II, having served in the U.S. Army, a well driller and retired from the Wildwood Texaco service station in Salem, Va.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Sharon Stump Skidmore of Bluefield; four great- grandchildren, David, Andrew, Elvis, Westley; one great-great-granddaughter, Madison; and also special friends, Steve and Melissa Coppolo, and the Kenebrew Family.
Funeral services for Mr. Davidson will be conducted Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will follow at the Blueridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Roanoke, Va. on Monday Dec. 10, 2012.
Friends may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services.
