BLUEFIELD —
Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Arrington, 64, of Bluefield, W.Va., passed away at her home Thursday, November 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 16, 1948 in Bluefield, W.Va., she was a daughter of Geraldine “Granny” Cline of Bluefield, and the late Ernest L. Cline Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brother, Ernest L. Cline Jr.; two sisters: Linda Gail Gillespie and Alice Ruth Donahue.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 44 years, Mark Arrington; a daughter, Kimberly Franklin and her husband Michael of Bluefield; nephews: Danny Arrington of Blacksburg, Va., Jeff Arrington of Bluefield, Rodney Holcomb and partner Amanda Hager of Bluefield; a niece: Cindy Hicks and husband Doug of Alta Vista, Va.; sister-in-law: Janet Jessee of Baltimore, Md.; great-nieces and nephews include Doug Hicks, Abagail Hicks, Sean Holcomb and Raven Holcomb.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Monday), December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mercer Funeral Home with Deacon Don Hammond officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Jude, Jason Worley, Matthew Sarver, Mike Spradlin, Rick Harman, Raymond Mulkey, John Snelling and Gene Wise.
The family received friends Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Mercer Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
