PRINCETON —
Ruby Coleman Muncy, age 78, of 701 1/2 Rogers Street, Princeton, W.Va., passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at her home.
Born on May 23, 1934 in Buchanan Co., Va., she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Allen Coleman. She had been a resident of Princeton for 22 years and attended the Rogers Street Community Church in Princeton and the Jesus Way Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Muncy Jr.; six sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include: Two sons: Danny R. Muncy and Debra of Bluefield, Robert L. Muncy and April of Princeton; four daughters: Barbara Walker and Howard of Princeton, Mavis Phillips and Donnie of Princeton, Jacqueline Horton and Larry of Bluefield and a special niece, Mabel Thompson and Robert of Princeton; seven grandchildren and one special grandson, Ethan Lee Muncy; eight great-grandchildren and one special great-granddaughter, Taylor Olivia Weeks.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rogers Street Community Church in Princeton with Ministers Eugene Pennington and Ravin Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the church.
