RICH CREEK, Va. —
Thelma Lorrayne Wills, age 86, of Powell Mtn. Rd., Rich Creek, Va., passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 22, 1925 at Bland County, Va., she was the daughter of the late William Benjamen and Cora Lee Hubbard Ramsey.
Lorrayne was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rich Creek, Va., and attended the Appalachian Christian Center, Peterstown, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jess W. Wills; four brothers, Jeff, Owen, Burley and Bill Ramsey; one sister, Joyce Pennington; and a daughter-in-law, Melissa ”Sissy” Wills.
Survivors include: Five sons, Ralph Wills and wife Narcisa, Todd Wills, Dane Wills and wife Tina all of Powell Mtn, Rd., Rich Creek, Va., Ronnie Wills and wife Winnie of White Gate, Va., Phillip Wills and wife Betty of Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Linda Meadows and husband Donald, Wilma Page and husband Ricky all of Peterstown, W.Va.; two brothers, Tommy Ramsey and wife Bobbi of Dublin, Va., J.D. Ramsey and wife Diane of Pulaski, Va.; 15 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va., with the Rev. Tommy Ramsey and Pastor Michael Biggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
