Christine Tolley Argabright, 84 of Princeton went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, November 6, 2012 with her family by her side at PCH.
Born April12, 1928, She was the daughter of the late Delbert N. Tolley and Ida Mae Thompson Tolley.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, DN Tolley Jr. and George Tolley; one sister, Ruth Gravely; three sons Alvin "Tony" Thomas, Chris Thomas and Charles "Mickey" Thomas and one grandson, Michael Pettrey.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. In her younger life she was a foster parent, taking care of numerous children and babysat for several years. She loved reading her Bible every morning before starting her day. She was a member of New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her brother, George Thompson and wife Irene of N.C.; Two daughters, Sandra Hylton and the "ole man" Wayne and Ruth Sneed and husband John all of Princeton; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Thomas of Princeton and Martha Thomas of Bluefield, Va.; Six grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Annette and Jeffrey Pettrey, Christie Thomas, who lived with her and looked after her, Jennifer Hooper and Alex Sneed. 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Her caregiver, Vicki Whitt. Very special friends, Mitch and Tammy Davis.
Funeral services for Christine will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
