PRINCETON —
Jacqueline H. Pennington, 79, of Bluefield Avenue, Princeton, died early Thursday morning, November 1, 2012 at her residence.
Born March 5, 1933 in Spanishburg, she was the daughter of the late O. Carol Harold and Mildred Baldwin Harold Dixon.
She was educated in Mercer County and was a devoted homemaker.
Jacqueline always placed her family first and foremost, in her leisure time, she enjoyed quilting, reading, gardening and listening to Christian music and studying the Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Boogee” Pennington in 1980; his sister, Reva Sneed; along with three half brothers.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Evonne Harvey and husband Stanley of Athens, Vera K. Johnson and husband Tom of Ceres, Jason B. Pennington and wife Renea of Bastian Va.; four grandchildren, Jessica Edgell Muncy and husband Michael of Tazewell Va., David Edgell and wife Elisha of Princeton, Dustin Pennington, Emma Pennington both Bastian Va.; two great-grandchildren, Britton Muncy and Isaac Muncy both of Tazewell Va.; brothers, Troy Harold and wife Faye of Houston, Texas, B. Owen Harold of Dallas, Texas, Obra J. Harold and wife Beverly of Gallipolis, Ohio; sister, Annette Paulk of Red Level, Ala. Also surviving are three half brothers and seven half sisters
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Charlie Rice officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.

Those wishing to attend the graveside services on Monday are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m.
