BLUEFIELD —
Louise L. Thomas, 91, of 3119 Maple Acres Rd., Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Westwood Nursing Home. Born May 6, 1921 in Bluefield, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Posey L. and Addie Ellen Edwards Lester.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Greenview United Methodist Church, was a member of the Circle 3 group, and was retired from the Commercial Bank where she worked for 36 years.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John Thomas of the home; a daughter, Ann Johnson and husband John of Bristol, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Thomas will be conducted Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Monte Vista Park Cemetery located in Green Valley with the Rev. Christopher Raines officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the Greenview United Methodist Church in Green Valley at 1:45 p.m.
