Amber Michelle Knowles
PRINCETON — Amber Michelle Knowles, 34 of Hutchins Lane, Princeton, died early Thursday morning February 14, 2013 after a four-year battle with cancer with her family by her side.
Amber was born February 8, 1979 in Princeton; she was the daughter of Robert Allen Lovell and Judy Coleen Ford Lovell.
Amber graduated from Princeton Senior High School in 1997, and received her Teaching degree from Concord University in Athens
Amber's courageous battle with cancer did not preclude her from being a good wife and a great mother. She enjoyed Zumba with her friends, baking deserts and cheesecakes, going to the beach and she loved her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her best friend and soul mate, her husband Jason Edward Knowles, two beautiful children, Gavin Blake Knowles and Reilly Gage Knowles and her parents Allen and Judy Lovell, all of Princeton; one sister, Wendi Coburn and husband Mike of Rock and their children; Haley, Cody and Logan; her grandmother Betty Lovell of Princeton; her father-in-law and his wife, John and Cheri Knowles; her mother-in-law and her husband, Ginny and Dale Ellis.; her sister-in-law Jennifer Knowles; and a host of friends.
The family has honored Amber's request, her body has been cremated. In keeping with Amber's wishes, a service of celebration and gathering will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton from noon until 3:00 p.m. where family and friends may share their love and memories with the family.
The family would also encourage those attending to be in their casual and comfortable clothes.
In lieu of flowers, the family continues to honor Amber's wishes; Memorial gifts of love can be made to the education fund for her sons Gavin and Reilly, c/o the Memorial Funeral Directory, 654 Athens Rd., Princeton, WV 24740.
The honor of serving the family has been given to the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
