RED ASH, Va. —
Barbara Carol Baldwin, age 68, of Red Ash, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Born January 16, 1945 in Richlands, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Harry Lambert and Agnes Mearl Lambert Stacy. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Ray Baldwin; one brother, David Jessee Lambert and two sisters, Linda Mearl Boyd and Debbie Delores Tuck.
She is survived by her husband, R.C. Baldwin; one daughter, Tammy Connor and husband Richard of Pounding Mill, Va.; two sons, Michael Charles Baldwin and wife Alicia of Raven, Va. and Matthew Charles Baldwin of the home; stepson, Douglas Ray Lambert of Richlands, Va.; daughter-in-law, Paula Baldwin of Doran, Va.; grandchildren, Jeremy Connor, Mikayla Baldwin, Joshua Connor and Katlynn Baldwin; step granddaughter, Cheyenne Lambert; sister, Betty Jean Stacy of Richlands, Va.; and special aunt like a sister, Shirley Ann Dye of Doran, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Pastor Farley Christian Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
