RICH CREEK, Va. —
Oscar Dennis Via, age 81, of Rich Creek, Va., passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at his home. Born February 11, 1932 at Bozoo, W.Va., he was the son of the late Roy D. and Laura Gladys Frazier Via.
Dennis had worked as a Brickmason. He was a member of the Lindside Christian Church, Bozoo Ruritan Club, I.O.O.F. Lodge #362 at Lindside, W.Va. and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Sue Neece.
Survivors include his loving wife, Florence T. Hill Via; one son, R. Wayne Via of Crystal River, Fla.; one daughter, Joyce Ann Fox and husband Bill of Narrows, Va.; two sisters, Laura Ann Williams and husband Alfred of Bozoo, W.Va. and Norma Jean Whitlow of Vinton, Va.; four grandchildren, Lee Snidow, Chris Via, Angela Via and Brian Snidow and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va. with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery, Bozoo, W.Va.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
