BLUEFIELD, Va —
Shirley Mae French Cregger, 76, of Bland and Bluefield, Va. went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bland, Va. on August 15, 1936 the daughter of the late Mitchell McKinley and Birdie Saunders French. Also preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie E. Conley; a step-son, Loyd W. Cregger.
She is survived by her second husband, Loyd T. Cregger; four sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin Conley, Keith and Angela Conley of Bland; Daniel Conley, Jeffersonville, Indiana; Jacob and Kimberly Begley, Bland; two daughters, Darlene Conley and Sherry Lynne Conley of Bland; a step-daughter, Marty Icenhower, Kernersville, N.C.; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 stepgrandchildren, 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Edna Conley, Bland; two brothers, Wallace and John French of Bland.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hollybrook with the Rev. Charles Clark officiating. Burial in Shiloh Cemetery, Hollybrook. The visitation will be Sunday at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate after 2:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
