CHESTERFIELD, Va. —
Essie Mae Nisbet, 88, of Lucy Corr Village Chesterfield, Va., formerly of Princeton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Lucy Corr Village.
Essie was born on April 6, 1924 in Crumpler to the late Joe and Iretta Stanley Clements. She had been a resident of Lucy Corr Village for the past eight years and was a member of Beverly Hills United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Nisbet; two brothers, Joe Junior Clements and Billy Clements; and one sister, Betty Tollison.
Survivors include one son, Ron Nisbet and wife Becky of Ona; three daughters, June Rucker of Richmond, Va., Patty Collins and husband Roland of Woodbury, Tenn. and Kim Crone of Vincent, Ohio; one brother, Jim Clements and wife Nancy of Chesterfield, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Chesterfield, Va. and Mary Hollis of Bluefield; eight grandchildren, Karen Wright and husband Keith, Bryan Collins, Abby Jenkins and husband Tim, Amber Nisbet Hodgdon and husband Brett, Melissa Neff Gould and husband Steven, Michael Neff and wife Ashley, Matthew Potts and Joshua Potts; and four great-grandchildren, Cody Wright, Conner Jenkins, Kydan Potts and Jeorjia Potts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at noon at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Bluewell, with the Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
