BRUSHFORK —
Charlotte Arnette Whitman Mayberry, 87, of Davidson Mobile Home Village in Brushfork, went to be with the Lord, Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 18, 1925 in Bluefield, Va., and was a daughter of the late J.K. Whitman and Margie Pendegrass Whitman. Charlotte worked until she was 79 as manager of Warrenizing Cleaners in Bluewell, W.Va.
She was of the Holiness faith and was a Godly and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed and carried forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart L. Mayberry and two brothers, James L. Whitman and Garland E. Whitman.
Those left to cherish her memory are five children: Daughters, Annette Youngs of Brushfork, W.Va., Rita Mayberry of Brushfork, W.Va., Coleen Mayberry Farley and husband Edward of Princeton, W.Va.; sons, Byron R. Mayberry and wife Diana of Elk Garden, W.Va., Stuart K. Mayberry of Troy, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Byron Mayberry officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Entombment will follow in the Roselawn Mausoleum in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
