Hubert Wayne Lane
PETERSTOWN — Hubert Wayne Lane, age 55, of Peterstown, W.Va., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home. Born January 21, 1958 in Union, W.Va., he was the son of Jay H. Lane and the late Leona J. Suttle Lane.
He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness Church at Narrows, Va. His church was a very important part of his life. Wayne enjoyed four wheeling in the country and also watching movies.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Christopher Ritchie.
He leaves behind, his dad and stepmother Jay and Margaret Lane of Peterstown, W.Va.; four sisters, Wanda Ritchie and husband Greg of Sabine, W.Va., Shelia Webb and husband Bob of Quinwood, W.Va., Lisa Collins and husband Jonathan of Thomasville, N.C., Denise Hodges and husband Jake of Princeton, W.Va.; three nieces, Melisha Daniels, Kristy and Kalee Hodges; two nephews, Joshua and Daniel Collins; many special friends and family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Thurman Belcher officiating. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Ballard for food and fellowship.
