Joe Daniel "Danny" Crawford, 62, of Street Rod Drive, Peterstown, W.Va., passed away February 21, 2013 in Roanoke, Va.
Born March 19, 1950 in Wikel, W.Va., he was a son of Frank Crawford and the late Alice Wanda Raines Crawford. Danny had operated Crawford's Garage since 1970. He was a State Representative for the National Street Rod Association. His hobbies included antique cars and Gold Wing Motorcycles.
In addition to his father, Danny is survived by his wife, Linda Miller Crawford of the home; two stepchildren, Ronald Lee Tiller of Narrrows, Va. and Rhonda Cable of Christiansburg, Va.; one brother Dale Crawford of Peterstown and his fiancée Gayle Whitt; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside with Pastor Michael Biggs officiating. Burial will follow at Orchard Cemetery in Ballard, W.Va. In honor of Danny, friends are ask to bring their antique cars and motorcycles to his funeral.
Pallbearers are Freddie Ratliff, Sam Faulkner, Doug Hardymon, Earl Mullins, Dave Bell and Jackie Evans.
Friends may call Sunday, February 24, 2103 from 6 p.m. ‘til 8 p.m. at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside.
