FREDERICKSBURG, Va. —
Arthur Wehrli, age 86, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C. Born April 26, 1926 at West New York, N.J., he was the son of the late Ernest H. and Edna Schwarz Wehrli.
Arthur had retired from Dominion Resources as a Chemist. He was a member of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Ruth “Betty” Wehrli; one sister and a niece.
Survivors include a brother in law, Edwin “Pete” Shepherd and wife Ruby of Rich Creek, Va.; two nieces, Josephine “Jo” Stables and husband Jim of Clemmons, N.C. and Brenda Shepherd of Roanoke, Va.; one nephew, Steve Thomas of Peterstown, W.Va.; two grand nephews, one grand niece, two great grand nephews and six great grand nieces.
Graveside Services were held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, Va.
