PRINCETON —
Nancy Jones Thompson, 44, of Azalea Street, Princeton, died Wednesday, July 3, 2012 at her residence. Born March 20, 1968, at Pearisburg, Va., she was the daughter of Victoria Mae Adkins of Narrows, Va. and the late Walter Monroe Adkins Jr.
Nancy was a graduate of Narrows High School Class of 1986. Prior to her decline in health, Nancy was employed by GlenWood Retirement Village in the Dietary department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Narrows Va.
Survivors include her mother, Victoria Adkins of Narrows, Va.; her husband, James Kenneth Thompson of Princeton; two children, Steven James Thompson, Tori Mae Thompson, both of Princeton; two sisters, Diana Moulder, Nina Fisher, both of Narrows, Va.; one nephew, Eli Fisher; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert F. Thompson Sr. and Margaret Gayle Thompson.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 in the Athens Cemetery in Athens with Pastor Gary Jakes officiating. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by 11:00 a.m. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The Thompson Family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
