BLAND, Va. —
Joyce Levon Six, 71, of Bland, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from her home. She was born on March 19, 1941 at Saltville, Va., the daughter of the late Roy Virgil Six Sr. and Novella Campbell Smith Six.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Havens and a brother, Roy Virgil Six Jr.
She was the pianist for about 60 years at the Bland United Methodist and was a faithful member of the church.
She is survived by one sister and brothers-in-law, Lannie and Doug Bissonette, Wytheville, Va. and Garland Havens, Bland, Va.; four nieces and nephews, Rebecca Conley, Glenda Anderson, Bill Havens and Christie Miller; numerous grand-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, Va. with the Rev. Bobby Lorton and the Rev. Dewey Conley officiating. Burial in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Bland.
The visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.
