GAHANNA, Ohio —
God called home our beloved mother Thelma Corrine Webb on Feb. 3, 2013 at her home in Gahanna, Ohio, formerly of Kyle.
Thelma was born on Dec. 29, 1919 in Floyd County, Virginia to the late Owen and Lillian Cox Fields. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to the late Carl Fuller Sr. Thelma later remarried Henry Webb who preceded her in death in 1965. She was loved by everyone and never met a stranger. She was a hard worker, working until her early 80's,
Mrs. Webb was the last surviving member of her immediate family, proceeded in death by 12 children, three grandchildren, two sisters, and two brothers.
Thelma leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mrs. Loretta Powell of Elkhorn; special daughter, Ms. Rosa Reese of Gahanna, Ohio; three sons, Mr. Henry (Margreta) Webb of Manhattan N.Y., Mr. Joel Webb of Dayton, Ohio and Mr. Mervin (Claudia) Webb of Warren Mich.; two special granddaughters, Mrs. Angela (Billy) Jones of Gahanna, Ohio with whom she made her home and Ms. Zelda Helm of Mansfield Ohio; 29 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. A host of additional family and friends are left to mourn her passing.
Home going services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at the Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Calloway, Rev. David Helm, Rev Jasper Cooper and Rev. Walter Clay officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens on Littlesburg Road, Bluefield. Friends may call the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to services.
