NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. —
Douglas “Dino” Davis, age 68, of North Tazewell, Va., died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell, Va.
Born September 22, 1944 in Tazewell County, Va., he was a son of the late Georgia Davis. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Randolph M. Davis and Conrad Davis.
He is survived by two sisters, Ruby Marya D. Head of White Plains, N.Y. and Romona Katie Davis of Tazewell, Va.; three nephews, Roger Davis of Riner, Va., Pablo Davis and Aaron Davis both of Tazewell, Va.; special great-nephew, Carl Davis Jr. and great-great-nephew, Carl Davis III both of Tazewell, Va.; four nieces, Tara Davis of Maryland, Connie Davis of Tazewell, Va., Mary Alice Davis of Georgia, and Yvette Head of San Francisco, Calif.; one great-niece, Brittany Joan Davis of Tazewell, Va.; niece-in-law, Patricia Sparks of Tazewell, Va.; special friends, Herman Clements, Darrel “Goober” Moore, and David Harris all of Tazewell, Va.; numerous cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, Va.
